New colors for Mustang

Here's a scoop that we missed last month: Check out these spy shots a
GrabberOrange.net forum member snagged of two colors we presume to be headed for the '08 Mustang. If that's indeed the case, buyers will soon be able to select the extremely retro-cool heritage color, Grabber Blue, recently showcased on the
Galpin BOSS Mustang at SEMA. The other new shade is an equally old-school-looking Amber Gold, which should find its share of fans as well. Here's hoping they're intended for sale to the public in the near future.

That grabber blue on a V6 should make the secretarys happy.

That blue looks amazing, but I wish we could see highland green for the next bullitt that is rumored to be coming.

@1 LOL!!! That's funny. But let's take it a step further since it is "Grabber Blue" and make it the subtly hot librarian chicks that should dig it... Pent up sassy FTW!!!

RC,
If you read the GrabberOrange.net thread, one of the posters (I believe the same one who posted these pics) confirms that the Bullitt (it's not a rumor, it's a fact) will indeed come in Highland Green. The poster apparently saw the car at Ford's Showroom of the Future event.

I am a little upset they pulled the Competition Green, right before I was about to buy one. As for Highlander Green. Yes it is a great color, but as that color is somewhat out of style right now I would not hold your breadth. Unless they make a Bullet edition again.

Ugly colors for ugly cars... nice combination. Can someone remind me as to why Mustangs are even considered sports/muscle car again? Is it the amazing handling characteristics, measly 300HP or 16" wheels? LMAO

I love Mustangs and those colors are nice but not for me. My favorite on a Mustang is Black, Red, and Ford's new Vista blue. These colors look similar to ones they had on the Cougar around 2000. New colors=new buyers. Keeps it fresh until the 09 comes along next year. Thats a shame they cancelled the bright green. But I suppose that will make it worth more to be rare in the next 20-30 years.

#6 youarelame...The Mustang, in several comparos and reviews, has posted handling numbers comparable to BMWs and 350Zs. And I find it interesting that a car that starts at $25-26k and is that size with 300hp can hit 60 in FIVE seconds flat. And the 16 inch wheels come on the base Mustang. The GT comes with 18 inchers. So when you have something productive to say, say it. But for right now, keep your mouth shut.

Alright stealth man, you certainly are spreading the buzz among Mustang lovers. I'm wondering if these colors will make it to production. When is production? This post on Mustang Madness directed me here. http://jenningsandersonford.com/blog/2007/03/mustang-madness

More toys for the retro people. Ford distances itself further from mainstream society and cements it's future nowhere forward.

#11 your post makes no sense. The retro mustang sells better than any car Ford makes. The retro look is fun, tight and clean. If the 500 had some retro it might have actually sold. Same applies to freestyle.
A retro futurist Crown Vic with a '67 Fairlane look would drop the bomb on Chrysler's 300.
Google image 67 Fairlane and tell me that would not make a sweet 2009 Crown Vic. That would be dropping it like it's hot, my friend.

Where is my Grabber Green!!!!!
Johnb @ Mar 16th 2007 8:45PM
Those colors will guarantee the police meet their ticket quotas.
Johnny Vee @ Mar 16th 2007 9:09PM
I can confirm the green color, I saw someone with it around the DFW area
